We have a new role available working as a Stock controller taking a lead role in stock control across the site.
The stock controller’s will work with the stores team to ensure 24 hour stock control. Key functions of the role are overall management of stock, stock rotation, stocktaking, stock reconciliation and monitoring the movements of stock, both physically and on our clients computer systems.
Key requirements are good analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication skills and a good level of numeracy and organisation capabilities.
£8.50 per hour plus
£21.00 per full shift responsibility pay
4 on 4 off Shift

Specific tasks include -
- Complete accurate stock on our clients computer systems, with counts daily and as required
- Investigate stock discrepancies and provide thorough and accurate investigation and resolution of anomalies
- Distribute (Excel & Computer) stock counts daily to all relevant employees including operations and planning
- Communicate any stock shortages /reports to all appropriate people
- Book in and store any intake of product into correct racking and in accordance with stock rotation requirements
- Undertake stock rotation to ensure correct order for dispatching product
- Assist in internal audits
- Complete all relevant computer input & paperwork
We are looking for individuals with a Pro- active and positive approach who are flexible, reliable, and accountable. You should be able to work as part of a team and motivate your team to get the best from them. Having a “can do” attitude is vital and you must be able to work confidently without constant or direct supervision. A good understanding of English and maths is required. Completing required documentation accurately, and with attention to detail is essential.
Days of work vary as this is 4 on 4 off shift and will include working weekends and bank holidays. 1 hour paid break in each shift. Normal Hours of work are 6.00 am to 6 pm, but these can be discussed at Interview.
