We are currently recruiting for a stores operative to join our clients current stores team.
Days of work are Sunday to Thursday and the core hours of work are 10pm – 6am.
£7.93 per hour (40 hours per week). Maximum night shift pay £52.50 per week.
Overtime paid once core basic hours are achieved in the working week
Paid Break allowance
Main duties include -
- This role will cover all aspects of stock control and management.
- Complete accurate stock counts daily and as required and report anomalies. Distribute stock counts daily to all relevant employees including operations and planning.
- Working on stock control systems such as Movex.
- Use an intermediate level of English and Maths to ensure accurate Completion of all required documentation. This paperwork is essential to product traceability.
- Use Computer skills to update stock on both word and excel programmes.
- Maintain trace ability of intake and ensure quality is a key focus.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Carry out intake checks.
- Ensuring raw materials are stored correctly and within designated areas.
- Ensuring raw materials are available to the production teams when required and organise timely delivery.
- Fork Lift Truck Experience is an advantage but not essential however the applicant must undertake Internal FLT training if successful.
- Communicate any stock shortages or other issues to the Stock Controller
- Keeping the Yard and working area in good clean condition. Carrying out clean as you go in work areas.
- Decanting and labeling as required.
Essential Requirements for this role:
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Works accurately and with attention to detail
A good understanding of English and maths is required. Completing required documentation accurately, and with attention to detail is essential for this role. An intermediate level of computer skills is also essential.
