Test Engineer
Location
- Shop Floor - Bridlington Office
Main Purpose of Job
- Test machines to ensure Customer and Machine Specifications are met
Main Tasks:
- Adopt 5s and Lean Philosophy
- Obtain test sheet and works instruction sheet
- Set up test bench with additional items and test materials
- Prepare machine with decals and spares package
- Run machine and update test sheet
- Report and log findings to relevant department
- Ensure problems are rectified
- Re run machine and confirm all faults are fixed
- Photograph machine and store picture in machine folders
- Pack spares for despatch to customer
- Complete handover sheet for Production
- Run machines for Customer demonstrations and factory acceptances
- Service machinery on customer sites
- Install new machinery and provide on-site training for Customer operators
- Train service engineers when necessary
- Order materials and tooling for test and Customer demos if requested by Manager
