We are looking for Team Leaders
Role:
- To ensure that shift members being asked to carry out tasks and operations are trained, safe and capable to do so.
- Liaise with the Pro-Safety Training Team as required. Welcome new starters and give them a positive impression of the client
- To utilise the staff members on the shift to execute the agreed production plan safely, on time and in full in terms of yield and quality.
- Have effective line changeovers and discuss any production issues with the supervisor/engineers/Quality controllers as required to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- To ensure and enforce that all prescribed safety clothing and equipment is used correctly and is maintained in clean condition and good working order.
- To understand and ensure compliance to the company quality policy taking ownership of resolution of issues highlighted such as non-conforming ingredients.
- To be accountable for the full and comprehensive recording of process information and adherence to process work instructions.
- Ensure the safe and complete handover of your area to the oncoming shift, with particular focus on foreign bodies and cleanliness of equipment.
- Ensuring the line is run in an efficient and cost effective way with minimum waste
Requirements:
- We are looking for individuals with a pro-active and positive approach who are flexible, reliable, and accountable.
- You should be able to work as part of a team and motivate your team to get the best from them.
- Having a “can do” attitude is vital and you must be able to work confidently without constant or direct supervision.
- A good understanding of English and maths is required.
- Has worked in high volume fast paced environments
- Passion for high quality fresh food
- Full UK driving license – due to the location and working hours
