- We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Electrical Design Engineer, to join one of our manufacturing clients in the East Riding of Yorkshire area on a permanent basis. As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be methodical in your approach, with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for development.The Electrical Design Engineer will deal with all aspects of design relating to production, R&D, procurement, sub-contractors, service support and technical documentation. This role encompasses all aspects of electrical design, so you will need relevant electrical design experience, and a HNC up to degree level is desirable.The company is an international client, offering amazing opportunity for career progression and skill development.Key accountabilities:

Producing and analysing electrical schematics, working closely with mechanical design and software engineers to ensure the designs meet client needs.

Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders

Producing technical documentation for machine operation, testing and design.

Relationship management and communication with suppliers, working closely with the purchasing department.

Occasional site visits.
The successful candidate will have:-
HNC qualification in electrical design engineering/degree in electrical engineering (desirable)

Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer

Relevant software knowledge and experience, such as PLC/HMI
-
Computer literate, proficient user of IT systems

Experience in 5S and lean manufacturing

Hours:-
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
