New Installations Foreman

The position involves working within the Event Hire/Structure industry fitting and removing bespoke Aluminium window and door systems in a timely and efficient manner at some of the UKs most prestigious events and venues. The candidate will be required to work a lead role within the company, handling company staff and some outside staff to complete window and door installations anywhere in the UK and Ireland.

Personal and interpersonal skills.   

1. To be comfortable and professional, a strong crew leader and to deal with customers/project managers on site. Professional in appearance and ability to work with Managers and Directors.
2. Has physical strength and stamina for long days on site lifting and fitting equipment.
3. Has good communication and PC skills for information input into our systems.
4. Has a strong work ethic, is punctual, motivated, and able to work long periods including overnights away from home.

Technical and Product skills.

1. Previous work within the Building sector or Window/Door manufacturing/fitting industry
2. Manage all health & safety aspects of any installation and ensure safety standards for staff and equipment fitting are kept to extremely high standards and all OED procedures are followed.
3. Full clean driving licence essential, comfortable with van driving and van loading skills.
4. Forklift certificate would be an advantage.
5. Manage and maintain all OED rental equipment to a high standard whilst keeping accurate records of any damage, repairs, or non-returns.

Working week based on 40 hours, 8am till 4.30pm but significant overtime is required during our busy summer period.

Wage will depend on experience of candidate and training required.
