2/10 Food Production Operative

Our Client, a well-established expanding manufacturing company in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire are looking to recruit a machine operative for their Whitby site.

Full Training & company workwear will be provided, along with enhanced holiday per year.

Ideally the Successful candidate will come from a fast-paced background and be comfortable working within a team. Have am understanding of health & safety regulations and following the 5's.

Be clean and tidy and understand the importance of keeping workspace clean, tidy and in order.

You will have machine operating knowledge and a good all-round understanding.

Duties to include.

Working in a production line environment, machine operating, ensuring that all procedures are followed.

Ensuring health & safety procedures are always followed. keeping areas clean and tidy and all procedures are followed as directed.

Checking stock counts with accuracy,

There is onsite parking available and a staff kitchen, with free hot drinks offered.

Anticipated duration of Assignment

Ongoing, reviewed in line with business requirements. A permanent position can be offer after a 12 week qualifying period.

Number of days per week

Monday to Friday - 2pm - 10pm

Over Time available at enhanced Rates.

Number of hours per week

40 hours £13.89
Overtime 1 - £20.83

Overtime 2 - £27.78
