Its always good to have a few answers prepared for the questions about yourself.
Questions could look like the below:
Tell me about yourself?
What attracted you to apply for the job with us?
What motivates you ?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Knowing a thing or two about your potential employer will assist you in the interview. It will help you to tailor your responses to show you are keen. Learn about the company's history, mission, values, and culture. You can read press releases, visit their website, and understand their products and services
In most businesses looking smart is a given so you should think about what to wear carefully. True, some places take a more relaxed attitude to attire, but you cannot go wrong with conventional office wear to create a professional first impression.
On the day of an interview, allow plenty of time ot get there without rushing or being stressed by delays. Take everything you might need such as notebooks, pens and a copy of your CV. Remember to look your interviewer directly in the eye, focusing on what they are saying.
A smile can be a powerful tool at a first meeting. Even if you feel nervy, make sure you smile because it will make you come across as friendly and relaxed.
Ask something. Never say you have nothing to ask at the interview. It makes you seem disinterested so always have a few questions to ask your interviewer planned in advance.
Even if you are taking everything in, making a note creates the impression that you are paying full attention. This is one of the best interview techniques for people who want to come across as conscientious.
End positively. When the interview is approaching an end to try to conclude on a positive note. This could be as simple as saying something like, “I look forward to hearing from you.”.
We offer a range of screening, testing, on the job certificates, we have listed some below. However, we offer a bespoke service, so if there is something you would like to align to your own staff, please let us know and we can discuss this with you.
Literacy Tests:
All our candidates are registered face to face, individually, in this appointment they are interviewed so they can express their expectations so we can match them to the right role. Our team ensure they fill out the application themselves, which is a good first step to understanding their understanding. Where we need to be sure of a candidate’s literacy we would conduct a literacy test, which we have in 3 levels. (These are confidential and only shared with permission to a client where there is need to).
Dexterity:
This is a peg board test, which is helpful to check for finger dexterity.
Basic Food Hygiene certificate: this can be undertaken in our office training room.
ISV online: An assessment to skills asses a candidate as part of suitability validation for a role or as part of the interview process with a client. These are used primarily to align with clients’ own processes.
