Job Title: Senior IT Technician
Location: Driffield, on-site
Job-Type: Full Time, permanent
Hours: 37.5hrs p/w, Mon to Fri
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Main Responsibilities
* Provide first and second line technical support for users.
* Maintain and manage servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud systems.
* Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and device management platforms.
* Implement cybersecurity measures including backups, antivirus, updates, and access control.
* Manage IT equipment procurement, setup, and asset tracking.
* Handle onboarding and offboarding of staff IT access and equipment.
* Deliver small IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and office setup changes.
* Maintain clear IT documentation and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in a general IT support or systems administration role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cloud services, and virtualisation.
* Good understanding of cybersecurity practices and backup/monitoring tools.
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of Cyber Essentials standards.
* Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
* Familiarity with ITIL or ticketing systems.
* Experience with VoIP, conferencing technology, or CRM systems.
* Basic understanding of GDPR and IT compliance.
