Job: Factory Trainer
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Bridlington
Hours: 4 on 4 off
Description: Developing and delivering training programs for employees on safety, operational procedures, and technical skills to ensure a safe, efficient, and skilled workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training delivery: Conducts training sessions, both in-person and online, for new and existing employees on job-specific tasks, machinery, and safety procedures.
- Curriculum development: Creates and updates training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and interactive resources, adapting them for different learning styles and experience levels.
- Record keeping: Maintains accurate and up-to-date training records, matrices, and employee training files.
- Collaboration: Works with supervisors, managers, and other teams to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Compliance: Ensures employees understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience as a trainer or similar is preferred.
- Train the Trainer or similar qualifications is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of factory operations and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic environment
